The Chronicle is the independent student daily newspaper at Duke University and recess is the weekly Arts & Entertainment section. Now in its 11th year, recess aims to provide the Duke and Durham community with the best in coverage of local visual and performing arts reviews and previews, critical opinions of local and national film and music and innovative and creative feature stories.

This blog, launched in 2008, is meant to supplement the paper’s print coverage and to let recess’ snarky side show.
