Human Highway to Play 506

(Via Pitchfork) Human Highway, a side project of Islands frontman Nick Thorburn and former Islands member Jim Guthrie, just announced a spring tour and are planning a stop at Chapel Hill’s Local 506. They are set to play the venue Sunday, March 22 with Cotton Jones and the Magic.

Live: Phosphorescent at Local 506, 11/6/08

Phosphorescent (aka Matthew Houck) kicked off his November tour last night at Chapel Hill’s Local 506. The show marks Phosphorescent’s first true Chapel Hill show, though he did play a show at Durham’s Bull City Headquarters as part of last year’s Troika festival. Additionally, the show featured Houck with a full backing band.
